Curriculum

There is no perfect homeschool curriculum.  That being said, many great choices are available to homeschoolers today.

Research any curriculum options that you are considering.  If you have friends who homeschool, ask what they use.  Figure out your homeschooling style, and find resources that support your unique homeschool.  Look for options that fit your budget.  Some may be returnable for a refund if you are not satisfied.

Below are curriculum and resources that we’ve used in our homeschool over the past several years.  I plan to add several more reviews in the coming months to cover the other fantastic resources that we rely on for our homeschool.

U.S. Elections Lap Book Review

The U.S. Elections Lap Book makes learning about the election process fun and interactive. When finished, my children enjoy “reading” it again and again.

Fix It! Grammar has been an amazing resource for our homeschool. I don’t dread teaching grammar because this method actually makes it enjoyable.

Linguistic Development through Poetry Memorization {Review & FAQ}

One of the best decisions we made for our homeschool was adding Linguistic Development through Poetry Memorization. The benefits of this challenging program are substantial.
